When is the Trundle ABBA Festival

The Trundle ABBA Festival will be held on Saturday 19 October, 2024. The Festival is held in the heart of Trundle at Berryman Oval.

What accessibility and services are available for people with disabilities?

The following accessibility services are provided at the Trundle ABBA Festival - 

  • A designated accessible viewing platform
  • Wheelchair accessible walk-way from viewing platform to toilet blocks
  • Two designated drop off zones with access to the festival
  • Multiple disability bathrooms
  • Companion tickets available

Will there be first-aid at the event?

St John’s Ambulance will site be on-site throughout the duration of the event to provide assistance and support. Whether it's a minor injury or a more serious medical issue, rest assured that help is at hand.

Trundle Multi Purpose Service has an Emergency Department located at 44 Brookview Street (02) 6892 1900.

In the event of an emergency, call 000 for Police, Ambulance or Fire Brigade assistance.

Ensuring the safety and well-being of all our guests is our utmost priority at the Trundle ABBA Festival.

Will food and beverages be available for purchase on the day?

A variety of food vendors will be serving up delicious food to tantalize your taste buds throughout the festival. From savory delights to sweet indulgences, there will be something to satisfy every craving.

Additionally, our bar will be offering a selection of refreshing beverages to complement your festival experience.

While we encourage the convenience of cashless payments, we also advise attendees to carry some cash as a precautionary measure in case of any network issues affecting electronic transactions. Having cash on hand will ensure seamless transactions and allow you to enjoy our food vendors and bar without any interruption.

Outside food is not permitted within the festival grounds, unless in the event of specific dietary requirements. There will be a variety of food vendors on-site to cater to dietary requirements, if you would like to purchase food on the day. Further details to be provided closer to the date. 

How can I purchase Trundle ABBA Festival Merchandise?

Trundle ABBA Festival merchandise will be available for purchase at the event, allowing you to take home a piece of this memorable experience. Our merchandise tent will offer a range of exclusive items. 

Whether you're looking for a stylish souvenir to commemorate your time at the festival or seeking the perfect gift for an ABBA enthusiast, our merchandise selection is sure to impress.

Can I smoke at the event?

In accordance with our commitment to creating a safe and healthy environment for all attendees, smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping devices, is not permitted within the festival grounds.

We kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to this policy for the well-being and comfort of all guests. Your support in maintaining a smoke-free environment is greatly appreciated.

Can I bring my own water bottle into the festival? Is there somewhere to refill my water bottle?

Yes, you are allowed to bring a sealed water bottle into the festival. There will be a hydration station, proudly supported by Kennards Parkes, on site.

Can I bring my dog/pet into the festival?

Pets are not permitted into the festival grounds unless they are a service dog, however, pets are allowed at the showground.

When do tickets go on sale?

We are thrilled to announce that tickets for the highly anticipated Trundle ABBA Festival will officially go on sale starting at 10am on Saturday, April 6, 2024.

How do I buy tickets?

Tickets will be available for purchase online via our official ticketing platform. We encourage you to mark your calendars and set your alarms to ensure you secure your tickets promptly and avoid any disappointment.

Can I get a refund on my ticket?

Please be advised that all ticket sales are final, and we are unable to process refunds for any reason.

Getting to the event

 

 

What transport options are available?

For your convenience, the following transportation services will be available:

Buses: Dedicated bus services will be operating to transport attendees to and from the festival venue.

Parkes (departure location being Cooke Park (opposite car wash)

  • Departs 11:15am 
  • Departs 2.00pm 

Forbes (departure location being Victoria Park (opposite Forbes Town Hall)

Trains: Train services will also be available.

Independent Tours: Additionally, independent tour operators may offer transportation packages to the Trundle ABBA Festival. We encourage you to explore these options for a tailored and convenient travel experience. 

I am planning on driving, is parking available?

Parking will be available via surrounding streets for those attending the Trundle ABBA Festival. However, please note that parking spaces are subject to availability and will be provided on a first in best dressed basis. No prior bookings are required for street parking.

It is important to be aware that some street closures will be in place to accommodate the festival, so we encourage you to plan your route accordingly and allow for additional time to find suitable parking.

We kindly ask for your cooperation and patience during this time, and we appreciate your efforts in adhering to any traffic management measures in place for the smooth operation of the festival.

How do I register as a food vendor?

We are excited to extend an invitation to all mobile catering units interested in participating in the Trundle ABBA Festival 2024. We are committed to providing festival-goers with a diverse and exciting culinary experience.

If you operate a mobile catering unit and wish to secure a place within the festival catering area, we encourage you to apply now.

How do I register as a market stall holder?

If you are interested in registering as a stall holder at the Trundle War Memorial, we invite you to contact the Trundle War Memorial Committee. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your products or services at this esteemed venue.
